If you are unable to open the custom animation webpage, see a "sad Ivy face," or encounter the message "Toggle off the restriction" (as shown in the image below), please follow the steps below.
Ensure Network Connection
Make sure that your browser is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Ivy. This is essential because the custom animation function relies on local network data transfer.
Handling the "Toggle off the restriction" Message
If you see the message "Toggle off the restriction," it’s because newer versions of Chrome block access to local URLs starting with HTTP instead of HTTPS. Currently, it’s not possible to deploy an HTTPS server with Ivy on the local network. Fortunately, you can disable this restriction in Chrome.
Steps to Disable the Restriction:
Click on the blue text "Toggle off the restriction" (this will open a popup window).
Copy and paste the following URL into your browser’s address bar and press Enter:
chrome://flags/#block-insecure-private-network-requests
In the new tab, set the option "Block insecure private network requests" to Disable.
Restart your browser.
