Ivy offers two sleep modes: Smart Sleep and Night Sleep. Both modes are designed to reduce power consumption, but they will not be effective if Ivy is connected to power.
Smart Sleep Mode
Smart Sleep Mode is designed to conserve energy by placing Ivy into an idle state when there are no interactions for a certain period of time. In idle status, Ivy will:
Disconnect from Wi-Fi
Lower screen brightness to a bare minimum
Enter low performance mode
Ivy in idle status will:
Wake up periodically silently to upload sensor data.
To wake Ivy from idle status, you can either:
Touch the side or front touch bars, or
Press the back button.
Night Sleep Mode
Night Sleep Mode places Ivy into a deep hibernation state, where Ivy:
Disconnects from Wi-Fi
Shuts down the screen
Stops all running processes
Ivy will automatically wake up when the set time range is reached, or you can manually wake it up by pressing the back button.
Enabling Sleep Modes
To enable Smart Sleep or Night Sleep modes, follow these steps:
