Touch Bar Issues During Tutorial or One-Side Unresponsiveness
If you are experiencing difficulty completing the tutorial due to an unresponsive touch bar, or if one side of the touch bar isn’t working properly, it may be caused by a weak connection between the touch bar and its inner connector, especially after long-distance transportation. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Look for a small indentation on the touch bar, as shown in the image below.
Press the indentation firmly to apply force to the connector and re-establish a secure connection. Ensure you are pressing directly on the indentation with enough force to engage the inner connector.
Note: The above is applicable only to Ivy manufactured before March 2025. If your Ivy planter was produced after this date, this solution may not be relevant.
Unresponsive Touch Bars on Both Sides
If both touch bars (and the front touch panel) are unresponsive, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Force Shutdown: Hold the back button for over 10 seconds to force Ivy to shut down. Then press the back button again to reboot.
If force shutdown does not work, please refer to this article: Unable to Shutdown or Reboot
