Screen Freezes, no Reaction

Ivy is not responding to any interactions

If Ivy’s screen freezes or it does not respond to any interactions, try the following steps:

  1. Force Shutdown: Hold the back button for over 10 seconds to force Ivy to shut down. Then press the back button again to reboot.

    Note: For Ivy units produced after March 2025, press the reset button at the bottom of Ivy to reboot. Ignore the following steps.

  2. Disconnect Power: If step 1 doesn’t work, disconnect Ivy from the power source.

  3. Wait for Residual Power to Deplete: Leave Ivy disconnected for at least two hours to ensure all residual power is depleted (until the backlight turns off completely).

  4. Reconnect Power: Reconnect Ivy to the power source but do not attempt to turn it on.

  5. Wait and Power On: Wait at least 20 more minutes before pressing the back button to start Ivy.

Note: For Ivy units produced after March 2025, press the reset button at the bottom of Ivy to reboot. Please ignore the above steps in this case.
